Concertation Committee (CC)

Due to the strong strategic character of the ESPON programme related to policy development, a Concertation Committee (CC) has been set up which prepares and advice on decisions by the Monitoring Committee related to applied research themes, targeted analyses and the development of the scientific platform.

The CC is composed by the ESPON Managing Authority, three members of the ESPON Monitoring Committee representing the countries of the respective current and the two following EU Presidencies and the European Commission. The CC is assisted in its work by the ESPON Coordination Unit.
